The United Nations is a hotbed of anti-Christian, New Age mysticism. With its one-world ambitions, humanistic philosophy, anti-Semitism, and syncretistic ambitions, it is an institution that is unwittingly making preparations for the coming of the Antichrist. It is an end-time Tower of Babel.

Many have criticized the United Nations and documented its failures, but typically they fail to see the underlying spiritual issues.

Hi Bro CKG!
Even though I don't buy seventh day adventism, I must say that Walter Veith (an adventist lecturer) is quite good on his coverage of this particular subject ("The New Age Agenda" on: http://www.christfirstministires.com). If you weren't already aware of it, you wouldn't know that he was an adventist from this lecture. When he keeps clear of his movement (during his series) he is actually quite good to listen to, but there the obvious give-aways in the odd few lectures.

God bless

This reminded me of something I had read about the European Union Parliament building; that it was designed to look purposely like an unfinished tower of Babel. The whole thing sounded a little far-fetched to me with stories about it having so many seats that were numbered, and seat number 666 was left empty for a future leader and such. I wasn't able to verify much of it at the time and pretty much forgot about it.

Anyway it made me do a quick search today. The first link I came up with was this: http://biblelight.net/Tower-of-Babel.htm.

Then I went to Wikipedia to get a more "unbiased secular view".http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seat_of_the_European_Parliament_in_Strasbourg.

Wikipedia says in part:

Quote:
Urban legends of mostly eschatological inspiration have it that the building was designed after Pieter Brueghel the Elder's paintings of the Tower of Babel (the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna version rather than the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Rotterdam version).[citation needed] Allegedly, both the painting(s) and the building were inspired by the ruins of the Colosseum.

It seems to me that the symbolism is there and is fitting whether it was purposely intended or not.

The rise of egalitarianism, homosexuality, eastern mysticism, postmodernism, evolution & political correctness are all part and parcel of their agenda (including modern Bible versions). I believe that everything that these people design has a spiritually significant purpose behind it and Babel is over 80% complete.

I thought that she said that she had established as "set law" in the house known as "my time" where she manages to get away from it all?

Hmmmmmmm, wonder if the Schoolfields are having a revival over there - or could it be that my posts aren't as controversial as they used to be???

Come on Sis - where have you been?

God bless

NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM

(Let him who has a US one dollar bill in their pocket understand. (Hint: look at the backside of it.))

BTW: you're not associating Mrs. Schoolfield with Babel are you? :)

I apologize in advance for the trouble I know I've just gotten into. I miss Amanda also, and I know it wasn't Babel that made you think of her. :)

Hi Jeff!

Noouuwwpp!!!!! Definitely not! :o

I would never own up to that, as I want her on my side when the going gets tough as she puts life into the threads and takes the heat out of all of that doctrinal male seriousness when the topics get intense! She’s a good ally to have when you’re in the trenches (as some on here can testify after our experiences on a previous forum!)

God bless
