Wow -- I don't know what to think about this guy! Sometimes I like the way he speaks from the heart but not sure if he is genuine. Seems like maybe he has changed his mind on some big issues recently like abortion, gun control, etc.

I like the way he put together a plan on illegal immigration with Jeff Sessions. At times he seems very authentic and frank, (at least more authentic than Hillary or Sanders). Then other times he seems like just a big-mouth creepy New York casino dude. Plus he has a very liberal past with the Dems, Clintons, yada yada yada.

He's not a statesman like Ted Cruz. But like him or not, you have to admit he is taking the entire political arena by storm! :?

Read the article and see what you think --->

Far be it for me, or anyone else to know Trump's heart. It does seem his own words speak against his claim.

What he says about asking God's forgiveness he states:

Quote:
“I am not sure I have. I just go on and try to do a better job from there. I don’t think so,”

Now the article says he was asked if he "ever" asked God for forgiveness.

If a man does not go seek forgiveness of sin through our Lord Jesus. Well....

Trump also makes another troubling statement:

Quote:
“I think if I do something wrong, I think, I just try and make it right. I don’t bring God into that picture. I don’t.”

He seems to rely on himself, not God. "He" goes out and makes it right. He also uses the words "do something wrong". He does not even call sin sin.

Trump also has a lackadaisical attitude toward the Lord's Supper:

Quote:
“When I drink my little wine — which is about the only wine I drink — and have my little cracker, I guess that is a form of asking for forgiveness, and I do that as often as possible because I feel cleansed,”

His condescending "my little wine" and "my little cracker" seem a bit snide. Trump also sees the Lord's Supper as something that cleanses. Just wrong.

As far as the Bible being his favorite book, well, that is fine but, how does he use that Book? Does he believe that Book? Does he live according to the teachings brought by that Book?

I like Trump for a lot of reasons, well, more for how he does things, which ultimately break down to his avoidance of politi-speak and political correctness. We will have to see how his fruit from here on out shows his true stripes. He is starting to talking the talk. Let's see him walk the walk. I have a feeling he is trying to ride the "I am a Christian" band wagon. I hope I am wrong. For many reasons. Particularly for his eternal well being.

I like him. He's got the power elite and the political class in a tizzy! He's not kissing the ring of the DNC/RNC and is not on anybody's "bribery list" (lobbyists, aides, bureaucracy, faux news, etc). If you recall the expression that came about when we tried to get Robert Bork on the supreme court - getting "Borked"? Well, the RNC and it's allies are "trying to Perot" the Donald, with their "no 3rd party run" garbage. Just like he explained to Jorge Ramos - go suck a lemon!

It seems that from some previous comments on various issues, if a person with Christian principles gets into Trump's situation, he's immediately vetted to the n'th degree, and cast aside for some perceived moral failure; but, if a Christian preacher with all of "our doctrinal ducks in a row" gets on board, he's not in step with God, because he can't be a preacher and a statesman!

He's already said he'd make Trey Gowdy his attorney general, and with either Ben Carson (another non-politician) or Sarah Palin as his 2nd in command, we might just turn this thing around.

I think when a man brings up his "Christianity", whether or not it's real is a legitimate question. I don't know much about Trump, never even watched his TV show, but my understanding is that he's involved with casinos, or is that something as "innocent" as bingo night at the catholic church?

Should we not be concerned with the effect it may have on people when the rich and powerful tell them that you can live like them and be a Christian?

It's early yet, but I'm not aware of anyone attacking anyone else's Christianity for supporting Trump over Hillary. In fact, I'll gladly support Trump over Hillary, but that doesn't mean that I'll just blindly promote everything he says.

I don't know why you criticize those for questioning the values of someone like Trump, and then you single out "faux news". What bribes are they taking or giving? I don't know of any other news organization that is as effective at drawing the public's attention to things like the Planned Parenthood murders. So why do you single them out of all the other news organizations, and then suggest that we shouldn't question Trump because he comes closer to representing our values?

In what way does he believe that walking around with squinty eyes and a puckered up mouth will help Ramos? Or is sucking lemons supposed to help your hair or something? :)

More seriously, I'm trying to find where Trump told Ramos to go suck a lemon. What I heard was Trump telling him to go back to Univision. Are we talking about the same exchange?

But that picture is sick. I don't know if maybe it has something to do with Deuteronomy 22:5, but that seriously is a disturbing picture.

Thinking about it, I think I find that picture so disturbing because it comes about as close to anything I've seen of capturing her soul.

I can't say much more because there are things on my personal server* that I've seen and heard that, while not classified, I'm legally bound not to speak of. Fortunately, my data is somewhat limited, even without any attempt to scrub it, because while I had access to a couple of presidents, my access to a particular first lady was limited because of different encryption methods or syntax**.

**I was told I didn't know how to talk to her.

It's going to be an interesting election.
