The only way to answer this question is to do an exhaustive study of the KJV on the words "wine" (and all of its derivatives) and "strong drink." I agree that Deut. 14:26 is a difficult verse because there is so much left undefined in the passage. However, one of the most importa...

Please explain yourself.
So far as I can see, sin is still alive on planet Earth. Murder, greed, adultery, lying, etc. those are all sins according to the Bible, and they occur every day all across the planet.

501(c)3 is not what most people think it is. If you meet certain criteria, you qualify. No paperwork to fill out or anything. The only limitation imposed by the IRS is that the organization cannot officially endorse any particular candidate for any election. That is about it. The government does not...

Here is how I see it. It is too easy for us as Americans to take our freedoms, and interpret Scripture through that lense. Paul lived under the Emperor Nero, yet he taught the general principle of honoring and obeying the civil law, under an oppressive regime. So, yes, the Scripture stands, even tho...

That's great advice Br. Parrish. I would echo that. I have always advised young people to keep their focus on serving JEsus Christ. He will either bring someone to you, or bring you to someone. Be faithful to do what you know to do, and trust the Lord to work out those kind of details. HE knows what...

God did ordain the institution of government even before the church, way back in Genesis 9. The Biblical instructions regarding government are that we are to subject to the powers that be, and pray for those who are in authority. We are to pay our taxes. We are to be good citizens. If Paul and Peter...

I've always preferred Ford, but nothing beats my Suburban! I don't keep up with the latest on vehicles because I always by used, pay cash, and buy from individuals. As long as it has a history of reliability, I don't care!

I like what Trump has to say on some things, but he is far too ego-centric. I have seen him dodge way too many questions, and he gets side-tracked about himself. Great business man. But can he be a good President? I think in theory he could, BUT I don't think he would be able to overcome all of the ...

Please feel free to continue this conversation. Just know that if somebody has to change one word in the KJV to prove their point, their point will be scrutinized to the "nth" degree. We believe there is no need to change one word in the KJV. We adjust our theology to meet the KJV, not the...
