Steven, I want you to understand that I don't have any issues with you personally. I have heard some good reports on your ardent defense for the KJV, and our friend Will Kinney. I only question your reasoning for the thread, and the foundation for it. I would encourage you to obtain Dr. Ruckman's bo...

Hi Folks, Remember, I gave a second quote from 2009 Bible Believer's Bulletin that made the same point. (And that was after I specifically asked on the original quote if anyone had a sense of additional context.) If you are suggesting I should enter into a correspondence and dialog with Peter Ruckm...

Here is how I see it - the "scholars" have controlled this debate for so long, that it is very easy to meet them, and attempt to "debate" them ON THEIR TERMS. Dr. Ruckman and Gail Riplinger, along with Gipp, Grady, and some others, have simply refused to meet them on "their ...

Steven, my personal opinion is that this is "straining at a gnat." I don't think you have swallowed any camels here, but I fail to see the point in your argument. For sake of argument, let's say that the evidence for the Old latin is overstated. Would it not be just as dangerous to underst...

I just noticed your critique of Gail Riplinger's book. I never considered her book to be a "swipe" at the "Reformation Bible" you have introduced. I considered it additional information that nobody wants to discuss that shows the importance of words and even letters. No doubt the...

Steven, I for one don't mind the discussion of the Greek and Hebrew. I grew up in a IFB church that USED the KJV, but didn't believe it. When I heard about the KJV issue, my pastor (a PBI grad) gave me Dr. Gipp's book "An Understandable History of the Bible." (This was before it turned int...

A quick update - more coming later... Overall - a good trip. It was a small group, but our missionary has been working very hard for the last six years, and is just now beginning to make some headway. What seemed like a bad thing - losing support over the years - turned into a good thing. it forced ...

Folks, I have been invited to take a missions trip to preach a special meeting for one of the missionaries we support in Prince Edward Island, Canada. We will be leaving Monday, and returning the following MOnday. Please pray for this trip - the travel, and the preaching! Thanks, everyone! In Christ

Folks - I apologize for not updating this. THe trip went very well - souls were saved, tracks were passed out, and information on the missionary's radio program was passed out as well. It was also informative, as my friend discovered that there is a sound gospel witness in that area of Zambia, albei...
